Kathy Reagan Young was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 10 years ago – when her children were 4 and 6 years old.  She was told stress was bad for MS as was exercise and she should just basically go home and wait for the inevitable debilitation and progression that would be her destiny.  After a year, she decided to fight back.  She walked in a 30-mile MS Challenge Walk 2 years in a row – raising over $10,000 each year. She adopted an attitude – and a catchphrase –  FUMS.  It’s how she speaks to this disease.  She likes to put it in its place. For those who may be offended by that meaning, she offers another, more sedate explanation:  Fundamental Understanding of Multiple Sclerosis!
She started a podcast to interview experts and in the field of MS  and patients like her (warriors) – to provide some inspiration to others that they too can move beyond the diagnosis and not just survive – but thrive!!  FUMSnow.com provides information, inspiration and motivation for people living with MS.
